Hello. I am the Opinionated Mama. I am a stay at home mom of a large growing family. If you have known me most my life, one thing you know is that I am very opinionated and very outspoken, though with age I have tamed down a bit ;) Though not completely. I come from a background that's worse than some but not as bad as others. Life may not have always been easy, but hey I am here, I am living, and I am ready to take the next steps in life, whatever they may be.
My family is not your traditional family. We are a home schooling family, using a cyber school. We do not immunize. We do not circumcise. We eat 85% organic. We are the average American family; who lives on a budget, sometimes pay check to pay check. We have been down the road of juggling bills, kids, life, and work.
One thing we strictly believe in saving the environment and doing what ever we can to do green. From using things like cloth diapers, family cloth, mama cloth, and unpaper towels; there is no end to what we do to make the world a better place, and to keep our family safe, happy, and non-toxic.
Recently I fell in love with many new mama made products. All made by work at home moms (WAHM). These products range from cloth diapers, jewelry, cloth wipes, mama cloth, unpaper towels, to felt play foods, family cloth, and wet bags. There is no end to the great things that can be made by a WAHM.
This is why is why I started this blog. I want to share my ideas, tips, and opinions on going green, budgeting, kids, and life in general. I love trying new WAHM items, reviewing them, and getting the word out about these businesses that moms; just like me, are out there creating and using their creativity, talent, heart, and soul to make.
